Hi! Hmm... A little bit about me... I'm working on my doctoral dissertation in Anthropology. I'm the curious type and I love meeting new people, traveling to new places and learning new things. I have a wide range of interests, from foreign languages and cultures to cooking to playing card games. I can be a bit of a geek at time as I love learning and reading. My nerdiness extends to video games, renaissance faires, dressing up like a pirate, anime, an addiction to learning foreign languages and other forms of dorkitude. I'm fairly quiet and enjoying listening to other people, but I also love a good friendly conversation and the occasional debate. I'm equally content going out to a movie, a show, a museum, or even the zoo as I am staying in and reading, watching tv or hanging out with a group of friends.

I'd love to meet someone interesting to share my life with and who will share their life with me. I appreciate someone with an open mind and a good sense of humor, be it sarcastic or silly. I'm looking for someone who I can have conversations with, someone who will join me on whatever adventures we have planned, and someone who doesn't mind spending a quiet evening at home occasionally.
